June Favourites!

Hey Guys!
Like every month, I had trouble narrowing down my favourite products I've been using. This month I didn't just focus on makeup, but I added a couple different items that I have been using religiously this June.

Vanilla and Coconut Oil from Bath and Body Works: I've been picking up random things for the house and this month I stopped in at Bath and Body Works and picked up a ton of hand soaps for the bathrooms and kitchen as well as an oil warmer for my living room. My house smells like summer and baked goods all the time now because of the oil I purchased called Vanilla and Coconut. I'm absolutely CRAZY about anything vanilla scented and now my house smells so good.

Kirkland Cleansing Towelettes: I picked these up at Costco and these are THE BEST facial wipes I've used. I like them even more than my Neutrogena ones (both yellow and blue packages). I'm going to be doing a full review on these, but for the time being I HIGHLY recommend them!

Ardell 116 Eyelashes: These are really natural, and since I like to keep my makeup on the natural side for the summer, I've been using these every time I go out instead of my drag ones lol

MAC Hipness Blush: This came out at the end of May, but I didn't think it was fair to include it in my May favourites since I only used it a few days. I've been using this almost everyday to work and it gives me the perfect summer glow.

MAC Illusionary/Burning Ambition MES: I loveeeee the white/gold colour in this duo. The brown is also AMAZING and incredibly pigmented. If I were to recommend one Mineralize Eyeshadow Duo this would be it! For all you ladies who love your neutral/brown colours I would definitely recommend this! This is a no-brainer when it comes to doing my makeup in the morning.

MAC Splashing Lipglass: Perfect summer lip. It is really flattering on my skintone even when I'm on the lighter side (Nc25). This colour also makes my teeth look even whiter than they are, which is another plus.

MAC 131 Brush: I wanted this to use with my Mineralized Skinfinishes and powder highlights and it is the perfect brush for both kinds of products. My HG highlighter brush! Grabs the perfect amount of product because of the duo fibre and distributes it beautifully.

Sephora Brow Brush: I use the bristle side to comb through my eyebrows after I've applied my MUFE Eyebrow Corrector which makes them look really groomed and in place. I also LOVE the eyelash separator comb on the other side because it is made of metal and really seperates clumpy lashes.

What were some of your favourite products in June?

  1. I adore the Kirkland makeup wipes... for the price they can't be beat. (Same goes for the brush set they put out last year, really great value.) When my skin is really congested tho and I want to treat myself I usually get the Neutrogena Deep Clean Wipes... (yellow package) I love how fresh they leave my skin feeling! I'm going to have to go to Bath and Body Works and pick up some of the Vanilla/Coconut oil. I love candles/fragrance oils! I'm always on the hunt for something that smells delicious. I'm a HUGE fan of the Vanilla Sandalwood candle from BBW!!! yummmy! Great post!! Thanks.

  2. love the post!
omg i love the kirkland wipes too! i bought the box with a bunch inside and i'm on me second one already! they work so well! I might be doing a review sometime soon :) for reference I have oily acne-prone skin and they work amazingly for me. when I review them I will link to your post on it because I'm pretty sure your skin type is the opposite of mine lol best of both worlds

  3. I have the same brow brush and I love it. The MAC lipglass looks really pretty- I just may have to try that one out!

If you get a chance check out my blog:

  4. I also LOVE hipness and that MES, so gorgeous! I need to have a friend pick up those wipes for me.

  5. Awwww sorry I tempted you doll ;) Haha, you will enjoy those ones! Brownscript is one of my absolute FAVORITES- I just adore it! Tete-a-tint is great for a basic lid shade, especially for work and natural looks. Somoa Silk is another one you should try- its similar to Tete-a-tine but more peachy/bright. Its sheer though and takes more layering. Tempting is a no brainer beautiful brown! Great for crease and corners, good pigmentation- you can make it light or dark. Cant wait to see a FOTD with the new shades- have fun!! ♥ best wishes beautiful!

  6. I love the MAC blush. Im obsessed with it... Good picks for the month:)

  7. Nice beautyblog! Mac is really amazing!

    please follow my new blog:

  8. The Kirkland wipes are my absolute favorite. I won't use any other makeup remover wipe since they just don't stand up against these. They really are awesome. And you can't beat the price!

  9. I need those wipes and the brow brush!!! I can't stand the plastic ones that break!

  10. One of my followers sent me a pack of those Kirkland Wipes and I LOVE them! I used to use the Neutrogena wipes, too. They're nice, but you can't beat Costco prices!

I'm such a pig... My husband and I went to Costco last week and I insisted on stopping at every sample booth, even though we were in a hurry. LOL!
