REVIEW: Origins VitaZing SPF 15 Moisturizer [[MY NO MAKEUP SKIN!]]

Hey Guys!
I first heard about this moisturizer when watching one of my fave YouTube Beauty Gurus, MakeupByTiffanyD. Tiffany was raving about this moisturizer and since she has very similar taste in beauty products as I do, I thought I would give it a try. Origins is not a brand I am familiar with as this is the first product I have tried from the company. Let me just say if all of Origins products are THIS good I would switch my skincare routine from Clinique to Origins in a heartbeat. I'm in LOVE with this moisturizer! I was using Estee Lauder Time Zone Moisturizer, but found it too heavy for my skin. This moisturizer is perfect for the AM since it is lightweight, makes my skin comfortable, and has an SPF of 15!

Before and After (freshly showered, no makeup)

This is NOT a "tinted moisturizer" in the classic sense. It is white, goes on clear and then matches my skin tone. I'd say it is an "in-between" to a full out tinted moisturizer and a regular moisturizer because it gives you a sunkissed "glow" without being as "tinted" as "tinted moisturizers" typically are. You can tell from the before and after that my skin looks more even (less redness in the cheeks), and I have a radiance/glow! It's hard to describe exactly what this does to my skin, but it really makes it look flawless! I can't get rid of my freckles, but as far as perfect skin goes, this does the trick for me!

It is safe to say that this is my HG moisturizer! I can't imagine finding anything better than this. It costs $35 US for a 50ml tube, but is well worth every penny in my opinion. I ordered this online and it was shipped VERY fast! A little goes a long way!

  4. This product looks great, and you're skin looks so good without makeup *sigh..

  5. Cheryl did you order this online or get it from the States?

  6. okay, now I need to try this. i went to get a sample of it last weekend and haven't used it yet....i'm tempted to try it now!

  7. Woah, those before an after pics are CRAZY! I can't believe they just market this as a moisturizer, obviously it's so much more!
    I definitely wanna give this product a try when I have the moolah haha :)

  8. wow it does make a difference!! BTW you're gorgeous without MU :)

  9. Looks amazing - I think I'll need this when I start doing the school run for my kids - an easy way to look fresh first thing in the morning!

    Did you have to buy it online? I looked at the Origins website, and it has very few Canadian distributors (like 2 Bays in downtown Toronto). I may try get a sample the next time I'm in the area.

  10. I hadn't had a chance to watch Tiffany's video yet, but now that I've seen your review I think I have to - and have to try this stuff!

  11. Do you think it will work for someone with very dry skin?

  12. Holy crap, Cheryl! You're stunning without makeup!!! I'm green with envy :P

  13. Wow, I might just have to try this now. Never used Origins before either, and Im' also using the 3 step Clinique system now ... thanks for ths!

  14. isn't that stuff so amazing!? i bought mine in january...i LOVE IT. it's so perfect for when you don't want to put on foundation, but want to hide redness and even out your skintone!

  15. Wow your skin looks awesome! I thin I love it even more on you than on me (I may be a bit too dark). This product was made for you!

  16. I'm definitely going to have to try this !

  17. hm, reviews do say it's tinted?

  18. I have this and find it similar to the Estee Lauder Daywear Sheer Tint Moisturiser. It evens skin tone and adds radiance...a great holiday/summer product!

  19. @Allison61 - I did buy it off the website!

    @sindylicious - TY :D

    @Ella Pretty Blog - I'm not near any of the places Origins is sold so I had to purchase it off the website!

    @Anonymous - I would still recommend it. I have fairly dry skin and it works for me. If it doesn't work on its own I'd suggest putting on a heavier moisturizer prior/mixing it! You only need such a small amount for it to work.

    @Lacy - Love you ;) LOL

    @Funky Crew - No where on the product description or packaging does it use the words "tinted". It does use "glow" and "radiance" which helps even out my skin tone. I've used many tinted moisturizers before and wouldn't say that this is quite a "tinted moisturizer" per se. In my opinion it is "in-between" a moisturizer and a tinted moisturizer because OBVIOUSLY it adds a "radiance"/"glow" to the skin. Tinted moisturizers I can typically still tell I'm wearing something, this just looks like my skin but better! Hope that helps :)

  20. I just ordered this today at Noon - Dec 13th - do you think it will come to Toronto Canada before Xmas, it is a gift. I hope it makes it. How long does it take when you order it online

    Thank you

  21. I tried this product for the first time today and I am amazed. Will use the sample and them order it if the results remain the same.
