Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in #968 Pinkerbell Review + Swatches

Hey Guys!
I found a dupe for MAC Viva Glam Nicki lipstick: Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in #968 Pinkerbell. Pinkerbell is ever so slightly lighter than Nicki, but depending on your natural lip colour, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference anyways. Pinkerbell is the same bright yellow pink as Nicki.

"Lips take centre stage! This 4-hour, long wearing lip color leaves a semi-matte, creme finish in one stroke. Glides on easily with rich, velvety colour that doesn't cake, feather, or bleed. Made with hydrating skin-care ingredients: Hyaluronic Microspheres provide extraordinary adhesion to lips, an exclusive polymer complex offers cushion-like feel and texture, and natural marine plant extracts Coenzyme Q10 and Vitamins A & E help smooth lips" - wnwbeauty.com

I absolutely adore this lipstick, not just because it is a very good dupe for MAC Viva Glam Nicki, but because it is an overall great quality lipstick: here is why.

The formula is extremely long-wearing, as the name suggests and very pigmented. One swipe of this lipstick on my lips and I achieve an opaque, even coverage. The formula is semi-matte, therefore, I would suggest exfoliating your lips before your first application, since matte lipsticks tend to accentuate dry, flaky lips. Also, after exfoliation, I would recommend applying a lip balm prior to application of the lipstick to make sure your lips are nice and moisturized and don't dry out upon application. I don't just recommend exfoliating and moisturizing lips for the WnW Mega Last lip colours, I recommend doing this prior to the application of ANY matte/semi-matte lipstick. More than anything, the price is extremely affordable. For such a great quality lipstick for less than $2, you can't go wrong.

Retail Value: $1.99 US

Pros
  • Long-wearing
  • Pigmented
  • Affordable
Cons
  • Slightly drying (avoidable with a balm as a base)

  1. Hi,
Luv the lipstick on you! Will have to pick it up as well.

A few questions, do you have the link or website to where you bought the sample Mac Pigments?

What is your everyday look for work?

Do you have an updated skin care routine?

    Thank you!

  2. I just picked one of these up! I really like it, but, like you said, it is a little drying. A great lipstick though. And for the price, it's a steal! x

Do you know how CoQ10 helps nourishing our lips? I really don't get it. :)
