Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2012 Inspired Makeup Tutorial!

Hey Guys!
I'm sure many of you know, tonight airs the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show! Every year, Victoria's Secret puts on a show for the holidays with all the beautiful angels looking fabulous in lingerie, bras and panties. I've never actually watched one of the shows, but always have seen highlights and have checked out videos on hair and makeup tutorials from each years show. I love the "Victoria's Secret look" with big voluminous soft curls and natural, bronze, glowing makeup. The show always gets taped a month or so early so there are always lots of behind-the-scenes images floating around the internet prior to the show airing.

This year I decided to check out what the makeup was going to be and recreate a tutorial inspired from photos for you guys! I hope you enjoy this tutorial as much as I enjoyed filming it.

  1. How do you like High Beam as a highlighter? Have you tried Josie Marans Argan Illuminizer?
Great video, you look like you could walk the runway next year!

  2. Cheryl, do you dye your hair yourself? Do you go and have it done by someone? What color do you get/use?

    1. I go to the salon to get it done. They typically use the darkest brown possible, almost black and currently I haven't had it done in probably 4 months so it has faded considerably to what it is now!

  3. Hey Cheryl! I've seen you apply black mascara to your top lashes and brown to the bottom lashes in a few tutorials. What effect does using brown on the bottom lashes instead of black have?

    1. Hey Sylvie!
It just gives a softer effect on your eyes. Black is really harsh looking on the bottom lash line depending on what kind of look I'm going for. If I'm doing a daytime/natural look, brown is more suitable, in my opinion. Black also closes off the eyes so I find when I use brown my eyes look a little bit bigger. Hope this helps!
