Annabelle Biggy Bronzing Powder in Caribbean Sun

Hey Guys!
Annabelle Cosmetics released two new products for their Aqua Queen Summer Collection. I have since reviewed the Hawaiian Hues Eye Shadow Palette and this review will focus on the second item, Biggy Bronzer in Caribbean Sun.

About the Product:
"Get a touch of sun with these five gorgeous shades. Each one can be worn alone or layered together. So lighten and brighten for a sexy tanned summer glow!"

Retail Value: $12.95 CAD 0.65 oz / 18.7 g

Review: As for drugstore bronzers, this is my favourite one to date. It gives the perfect bronzed glow when you mix all the shades together, or you can customize the colour by using one of the five stripes separately. The texture is finely milled and extremely smooth to the touch. The formula is not the slightest big chalky and has very fine shimmer throughout giving the skin a glow, not making you look like you have a ton of sparkle on your face. There is a TON of product for an affordable price. The size reminds me of the MAC Wonder Woman Mineralized Skin Finishes on steroids (click here for size reference). Due to its size, it has a solid weight to it. Also because of the size, this makes for a great body bronzer as well. I think this will be the perfect "year round" bronzer since it looks just as good on my pale skin as it does on my tan skin. Review: I love the variety of colours in this palette. Yes, I have my beloved neutrals, but I also have some brights that are really fun to play around with and incorporate into my day-to-day look, especially for the summer. When first laying eyes on this palette, I was instantly attracted to the sky blue, the aqua and the green. I was quite surprised how much I liked the shade of green as typically I am not drawn to greens. The pigmentation is on par with what I expect from a drugstore palette. I quite like all the shades, but wish the black was a little more pigmented.  All the shades have shimmer, but with this said, they are not overly shimmery. I used the first four colours in the palette and my eyelids had a "glow" to them which I love. I think these shades have the perfect amount of shimmer to give the right amount of "sheen" and "sparkle" that I would want in an eyeshadow. I also think the colours are great for adding a pop of colour along the lower lash line. Later in the day, I ended up putting the sky blue smudged into my already existing black eyeliner and it looked great! I can't wait to play around more with this palette, but I'm really impressed so far. I must say, I'm really in love with the first three colours (surprise, surprise) and plan on packing this palette with me for when I go on vacation. I would especially LOVE if the first colour was available in a single eyeshadow pot as I probably will go through this shade in no time at all. It is THE perfect all-over-lid colour! As with all Annabelle eyeshadows, these held up all day without fading. Also, there was zero fallout upon application. The packaging is adorable, the quality is good and the eyeshadow variety is great and the value is even better. Below is a picture from when I wore the first four shades on my lid. I used all Annabelle Cosmetics for my eyes. If you are interested in an exact breakdown of my makeup, click here to be redirected to my previous FOTD.

My Favourite Products of All Time!

Hey Guys!
I just updated my "FAVOURITE PRODUCTS" tab. If have never seen this tab, I update it regularly when my holy grail products change. For reference, just click the tab. However, for this post, I figured I would just copy and paste the page for those of you who have been interested in an update.

Here is a list of my current favourite products of all time. These are all deemed "Holy Grails" by me until I find something to replace a product (which rarely, if ever, happens). These are tried, tested and true and whether it be high end or drugstore, I don't discriminate. This is a complete list of what works for me! Some products are linked to previous posts if there is a review on that product. My goal is to have all these products individually reviewed.

For reference I typically average a MAC NC30, but can range anywhere from NC20-40. I have normal to slightly dry skin. I will TRY and pick one "Holy Grail" from each list of favourites if one product stands out more than the rest. I will signify this with a *HG*.

Black Milk Clothing and an Iron Fist OOTD + FOTD

Hey Guys!
I purchased a new piece from Black Milk Clothing and received a new pair of shoes by Iron Fist from Love Clothing and I couldn't wait to wear them together in an outfit. Typically, I like to mix more "edgy" pieces with more "girly" pieces, but today I made an exception. The Black Milk Ribs Swim is probably my favourite piece of clothing I have purchased, to date, from Black Milk Clothing.

Outfit of the Day

What I Wore:

Black Ribs Swimsuit - Black Milk Clothing / Denim Shorts - Parasuco

Iron Fist Shotgun Platform Shoes - Love Clothing / Ray Ban Inspired Sunglasses - Point Zero / Mens Fedora from Santorini, Greece

I ended up changing into jeans and wearing a jacket when I went out at night with my girlfriends for drinks. I probably liked this outfit better, but didn't end up getting a full-length shot. Jeans were boyfriend style and from Forever 21 and were a nice contrast to the tight bodysuit. The white jacket was also from Forever 21.

On Black Milk Clothing, you can see how the suit looks and how it is styled on regular girls who buy their clothing. I really love this feature. If you look closely, you can spot me!

Also, I used a couple brand new products from Annabelle Cosmetics: Caribbean Sun Biggy Bronzer and Hawaiian Hues Eyeshadow Palette. I'm loving both products and will have reviews on each soon.

MAC Nymphette Lipglass + FOTD

Hey Guys!
I just wanted to introduce you to one of my all-time favourite lip glasses by MAC: Nymphette. Everytime I grab for this lipglass I always think of one of my favourite makeup girls, with the same name, Nymphette. You can view her blog by clicking here. She is as beautiful as she is talented!

MAC describes this as a sunny, golden pink with a frost finish. If you don't like shimmer, steer clear of this gloss. I typically dislike shimmer, but I absolutely LOVE this lip glass. I personally love the way the colour and the shimmer work with my own lips to make them look extra full and pouty. I love wearing this alone or on top of a nude lipstick. Like most MAC lip glasses, this is extremely sticky. I hate how my hair gets caught in it so easily. Though I don't particularly care for the extreme stickiness factor which most MAC lip glasses present, the stickiness does help this adhere a good 3-4 hours on my lips before reapplication. I wear this lip glass year round, but I find myself, especially, reaching for this during the spring and summer months. If you have yet to discover MAC Nymphette Lipglass, definitely check out out next time you are at your local MAC counter!

Retail: $17.50 CAD 4.8 g / 0.17 oz

I must say, I love how my makeup turned out this particular day. I wore hardly any makeup, but looked well put together. This is my husbands favourite makeup look on me. I wore this on Mother's Day using MAC Nymphette lip glass.
